You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

So, apparently, I'm a troll.

Seriously, now. When did we start using troll interchangably with "person who disagrees with me"?

Oh, wait. My mistake. It's not just "person who disagrees with me" it's "feminists."

Because, yeah, that's an intellectually honest reading of the situation.

Aw, Roy. It's not even 10 in the morning and you've got me leaving bitchy comments. Come on, now :)

Um... what was even his point? No really? That feminists (oh, sorry, I mean TROLLS) say things he disagrees with? And therefore are trolls? So the whole post = a lame, false tautology? And doesn't even refute any of the valid claims about the real actual damage that comic does to real actual women (and some real actual men, to boot)? Oooooh, burn, he really got us there.

That's some of the most fully insane crap I've read on a blog in a good long while. And I read a lot of blogs.

I get called a troll whenever I have strong, loud opinions about anything online. Don't take it too personally. Troll is just one of the many ways people who disagree with you will try to silence you.

Ack. One of the reasons I try to not even use the word 'troll' (in reference to blogging comments, anyway; in D&D it's fair game) is because, while I understand its usefulness from time to time, it is one of those labels that does more harm than good, if only because it obfuscates.

Hey, I just discovered your blog and I'm going through it backwards, don't mind me. :)

Man, that guy is unbelievably moronic. I like that he's convinced at least three entire fields of science are totally made-up and have a blatant political agenda, but apparently any science that reinforces his pre-existing beliefs is right on the money and unquestionable. And I'm sorry, but if you know full well the connotations a certain word has (or in this case, full-blown DEFINITION) and use it anyway, you can't feign ignorance and pretend people are misunderstanding you and you were only using it in such-and-such sense of the world. This guy truly makes me sad for anyone who reads his blog and things he has half a clue what he's talking about.
