Happy Friday!

This is just a quick note to let everyone know that I'm going to be gone till at least Thursday. I'm going camping with some friends. It's going to be lovely. I'll be back to posting when I get back.

Hope everyone has a great weekend, and if you've got any advice for delicious camping meals, feel free to toss them up here- I'm leaving tomorrow morning, so I've still got time. =D

New reader, new commenter, hello!

I'm of the more old school/grade school method of camping cookery: s'mores and dough boys. Most have heard of the s'mores, so the dough boy is a mix of water and all purpose flour (and a bit of salt) which one then mixes up, wraps around a stick and cooks. At the end of cooking/burning, one may then cover the dough boy in jam, syrup or whatever disgusting concoction they can think of.

Just though I'd put that out there. Also, any meat which is cooked on a stick = amazing. And corn, fresh corn.
